I am applying for job openings regularly. One of the questions I am asked on these applications is why I want to work for that company beyond a paycheck.

This question should never be asked unless it is referring to more benefits.

The reason people work is to earn a living.

When asked, I question how much they pay and the benefits included.

They want you to have other reasons to work for them because they do not want to pay an adequate wage.

Some benefits should always be included like health and dental.

I am a photographer. I am a writer. I am a filmmaker. I am an actor.

I am not self-employed.

I have worked for people and companies.

Self-employment would be me paying myself to do something. Paying myself with money I already have to do something. It is not working for others.

The people who gather in buildings once a week and listen to a person lie to them just to make them feel superior are fools.

They say they believe something, but saying is all they do.

These religious organizations pay no tax. They tell others to obey the rules that they have created. They have an agenda of hate and exclusion because they believe they are the judge of others.

Here I go again.

New day, new hour, but still the same doubts as before.

Each word written, a thousand more forgotten.

Each line of rhyme never read by anyone.

I write but will I ever be good enough to be heard and read aloud?

I did not go anywhere today. I like staying home, sometimes. There are times when I do want to go somewhere but today was not one of those days.

I just posted to TikTok. I prefer to scroll through TikTok than the boring FB.

I plan to go to a few places tomorrow.

I wrote a poem today which I think could help me write a TV series. It's an idea I've had for years. I have written portions of it before and I plan to start over with the idea soon. I need to spend more time writing. I also need to read more. I need to figure out how to get myself to do these things that I want to do. My problem is being overwhelmed by the various options when it comes to how I utilize my time each day.

At times I wonder if anyone wants me around. I wonder if they would be happy if I never bothered them again.

I hope to find a career. I need something remote. I need something that pays well. I need full benefits.

I want to buy a house so that I can be free of the stress knowing that any day now I will be homeless.

I would like to have a boyfriend but I do not want to rush into anything. If someone likes me they will have to work to get to know me. They will have to understand who I am and understand that I need certain things. I need to get to know the real them and not just stats and pictures. I need to spend time with them and get to know all of them.

The Barbie Movie arrived today.
