Any organization that has a CEO and pays that person should be taxed.
Any Church that pays the person who speaks once a week should be taxed.
I will no longer volunteer for any organization.
When you apply for a job they ask why you want to work for that company beyond a paycheck. My answer is benefits like health and dental. This is one indicator that they will underpay you and or have no or little benefits.
Some benefits should be the basic standard for any job. Health and dental are not luxuries. Having a place to live and food to eat are not luxuries. The rich owning more than one home and multiple vehicles is a luxury.
People work for big corporations. Big corporations benefit from people working for them. Why do the people working for big corporations not benefit from working for big corporations?
The people who can afford to buy the things they want are given things for free, but the people who can't afford the necessities of life are not given anything or are given the things no one else wants.
I woke to the shadows dancing across my bedroom walls.
Electric sun above my head.
Books I have not read stacked everywhere in my room.
Time is moving and I still just barely waking from dreams vivid, now fading.
Where will tomorrow find me?
Alone again?
I do not want to go anywhere today or tomorrow. I will consider going somewhere on Monday.
I am watching The Artful Dodger on Hulu.
I apply to job openings regularly. I rarely hear from the companies except for the SCAMS. I do not understand how they can claim to have considered my application when they never reached out to me. They never asked me a single question. They do not know if I am qualified for the position. They do not consider me because of who I am. Discrimination is why I have not found a first career.
In the past, I have volunteered. I volunteered at churches and other organizations. I will no longer volunteer for organizations. These organizations can afford to pay people to speak once a week and pay their CEOs they do not need volunteers.
