I was up late, last night, editing a song for a competition and editing a video with the song for Youtube and TikTok. I posted the song on my social media.

I often look at myself in the mirror and think that the way I look on the outside does not match how I feel on the inside.

What happened to the One Church? Not buildings. The Church.

Give the gift of laughter.

I went to a couple of places. I plan to talk about where I went today on my podcast.

I am not feeling well. My back hurts. I believe I turned it wrong in my sleep.

My sinuses are bothering me.

I plan to do a job search tonight.

I plan to work on things tonight if possible. I hope to feel better...

Thoughts race through my head as I run, uncertain of where I am running to, and I wonder where this will end. The words of the old woman are repeated in my head as if the answer is contained there in the utterances of a strange woman. I feel the rush of adrenaline flowing through my body. I can feel my heart pounding as though it will burst forth from my chest.

I run through fields avoiding the dense woods when I can and when I cannot avoid the woods I try my best to make my way through in record time. I did not see the faces of those chasing after me, but I knew that they were not my brothers. I hear those after me out there. They do not know where I am but they will not take long to find my trail.

I momentarily consider going home, finding my family, and leaving this place far behind. We could go back to the big city, to our former lives, and to an apartment in a tall building. This idea of going home fades as the idea that going home means first going out there into the unknown to finish something that I have yet to understand. I wish that this were happening to anyone except me.
