I wonder if it's a waste of time to submit to job openings.

There is a posting at the library concerning a job fair but looking at the companies that will be present I do not believe it will be worth attending but I might go just to have something to do.

My goal is to become a television writer. I want to write for one-hour or half-hour shows, drama or comedy, and maybe become a showrunner. My focus is this goal and anything that does not lead to this goal is not as important at the moment.
