Pride month is next month. I am going to an event on the first of the month. The event takes place in a small town across the river from my community.
I miss living in a city. I lived in Los Angeles. I could take public transportation to most places. I am now here in a rural state with no public transportation.
I am going to one place today and tomorrow.
I have plans next week.
It's warm...
I do not believe that anyone wants to help anyone else unless it benefits themselves.
Do you ever laugh out loud for no reason?
I sat by the window
watching traffic
as the news of changes
played out on a TV nearby.
I once imagined my life
and this is not what
I saw
when I saw myself
in the future
back when
I had so much hope
for my future.
