Days of drifting through time,

finding a dream waiting

as you close your eyes,

nothing left of all of those years

but the memories of

moments between dreaming...

In an empty room, he sits on the carpeted floor reminding himself that this is his space. He looks around at the empty walls. He imagines a bed. He imagines this room populated by his possessions. He recalls the days and nights of sleeping in his car. He recalls everything he owns placed in a storage unit waiting for him to retrieve.

These days are long. Waiting for the uncertain. Being cautious but nervous about what could happen next.

I wait and I dream of better days.

I wait and imagine a life I could have someday.

I went to a few places today. I plan to speak about that on my podcasts.
