Drops of rain,
strain to remain
cannot contain
the pain of life
flowing through like blood through vein
going through me
changing me from within,
on window pane
gliding down
edges of a plane
lines drawn
a path found
in the underground,
beneath layers of persona
life shapes the water
flowing through and down,
water is memories
finding places to settle
on my mind
to someday remind me
of where I have been
and where I am now
then
when
memories come back around.
It is Wednesday again and I feel like going back to bed. I feel like anything I could possibly do has no chance.
I live in a rural state in which discrimination is accepted as everyday life. I know that no one is going to hire me because of discrimination.
I am uncertain of what to do...
