Puffy clouds

Blue sky,

blooming flowers,

towering trees

of green leaves

dancing in a gentle breeze,

a path through

fields of grass

and over hills of trees

bees and birds,

sounds of nature all around,

leave the pavement far behind

to remind yourself of

a simpler time.

He sat in the car watching the traffic. He watched each vehicle heading in different directions. The weather was a pattern he watched, changing from a sunny day to a stormy night. He watched uncertainly of what to do now that he had come to this place on the road. He parked in a vacant lot knowing that no one would notice his car. He watched as people went about their lives. He came here with all his belongings packed in his small car ready to decide the direction his life would take. He came here to decide which direction to travel and toward which destination he would go and live to find a new life in a new place. He came to the fork in the road knowing he would change his life forever...

I plan to go to a couple of places today.
