Thursday, February 22, 2024 I spend most of my time alone. If you do not count the times I go to stores then I spend all of my time alone. I saw something posted about having high standards concerning dating and my first thought was why force anyone into any relationship they do not want to be in? If I am attracted to a guy then I am attracted to him, otherwise I'm not. I have no interest in hearing about the fancy building you use once a week. Imagine if these buildings were used to help the community in which they are built. Wednesday, February 21, 2024 If companies want employees with a certain level of education then they should pay the cost of obtaining that education. The wealthy have created a system that benefits them. The working people pay more taxes. The working people make less per hour than the wealthy but do all of the work. The working people rely on government programs which are paid for by taxes. The wealthy pay less, if any, in taxes. What do you gain by sitting in a building once a week, listening to someone talk for an hour, trying to remain awake for the entire hour, trying to listen, and not having your mind get distracted by random thoughts? The person speaking is paid. They shouldn't be paid. The money paid to these people should go to someone who works. If you want to preach that is fine, but don't make it a career. I was going to this one religious group on Sunday mornings. I stopped going a few months ago. I've realized that none of the religious groups I've ever visited wanted to get to know me as a person. For them, I was just another potential financial supporter. They would have known I could not give anyone money if they knew me. I'm Autistic. I have no interest in watching movies like A Quiet Place or Nope. Monday, February 19, 2024 I decided to stop posting a daily writing prompt. Non-profit organizations should not be allowed to make a profit. They should not have paid employees. If they want to be considered a non-profit then all of the money they collect should go to the cause they claim to support. If a religious organization has paid employees then they should be taxed. If a religious organization has business meetings then they are a business. If a religious organization does not pay taxes they shall have no say in how tax money is spent. Religious organizations should be barred from political activity.
